The diode battery isolator allows simultaneous charging of two or more batteries from a single alternator, while not forcing them together. It is distinguished by a low voltage drop. All models are equipped with a compensation diode, which can be used to slightly increase the voltage at the output of the alternator, compensating for the voltage drop between the diodes in the isolator.
